This has been a, a really big year for Volt Minerals, um, with the company agreeing to a $12.6 billion merger with Genesis Minerals, uh, creating what's expected of it to become one of Australia's top three gold producers.

As the COO of Volt, what's it been like leading through a, a transaction of, of th- this scale?

It's been interesting.

So we've had billions of dollars being paid out over the past couple of weeks.

Today, we had Genesis Minerals, the gold miner, paying out its maiden dividend.

And that's just a fancy word to say it's its first ever dividend payment to investors that will be paying five cents per share to any eligible shareholder today.

And this follows a record year of gold production and profits with management saying that the dividend reflects how far the company has come since it only started producing gold in 2023.

In Australia, the composite PMI and Melbourne Institute inflation gauge are out.

Genesis Minerals is also making a dividend payment.

In the US, the ISM Services Index for September is released.

And on Wednesday, minutes covering the US Fed Reserves meeting last month will be released.
