What I also didn't get invited to is, and I never was when I worked for Future PLC for their Broadcasting Plus Cable group, was the Hall of Fame Awards, which was during the lifespan of a 93-year-old trade publication, Broadcasting and Cable, a fairly interesting event voted on by the editors of Broadcasting and Cable who were very much in touch with the Broadcasting and Cable industry.
