Frontier Wrestling Alliance

In...

Ex-WA, FWA.

Yeah.

The Port Fratton Wrestling Association, weren't they, FWA? Yeah.

Based in Portsmouth.

Alex Shane.

And he was a fucking monster.

Yeah.

He had worked with many wrestling promotions in the span of 22 years.

He wrestled for WrestleZone Wrestling, Westside Extreme Wrestling, SoCal Uncensored, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, One Pro Wrestling, the Independent Wrestling Federation, Frontier Wrestling Alliance, Dragon Gate, American Wrestling Rampage, Three Count Wrestling, and, of course, didn't become fully known until going into WWE through NXT, which that's when I first had watched him.

His...

The first match I saw of him was a match against Bo Dallas, Bray Wyatt's younger brother, in a ladder match for the NXT Championship at the very first NXT PLA.

Uh, an absolute legend in Morecambe Wrestling.

I don't use that word lightly, uh, because he went on to achieve his dreams and do what he loves to do at the very highest level after being with us in Morecambe for 10 years, 10 years in the FWA, in the XWA, one of the leading figures at that time at the Dome, and the only man to hold both the XWA British Heavyweight title and the British Flyweight title at the same time, as the outrageous head of Team Rockstar.

Um, went on to be the, uh, winner of TNA British Bootcamp, Madam Dixie's Chief of Staff, two-time X Division Champion, and then the General Manager of 205 Live, manager of the Authors of Pain, eight-time WWE 24/7 champion, got pinned to lose the title on his wedding day.

Yeah.

And I'm gonna take you back to probably the time when we first met, which would've been, I would think, probably the s- start of 2004, I reckon.

Mm-hmm.

Because this is your, uh, main roster, uh, debut in the FWA.

Although you had had...

And I'll let you listen to it.

But he asks me at one point, did you manage my FWA debut? And I go, no, I don't think so.

But I did.

You did.

I was managing the family against Spud and Murat Bosporus in Horwich Leisure Centre on April the 9th, 2004.

But there you go.

I actually was in Spud's first full FWA match.

Nice.
