So there are several companies that exist today that, well, minimum one company that is developing an FRT for the FN M249S semi-auto saw.

There is another company that is developing an AR trigger-compatible 3D-printed blower for a semi-auto RPD parts kit.

that will take AR FRTs.

And the answer is no.

Because here's the thing.

has already decided on how much it costs to make enough guns, enough M249s in the ATF-compatible semi-auto configuration for how much it costs.

And it's like, God.

We are fortunate, and by we, I mean the other American legacy gun companies, which are owned by FN already anyway, so I don't even know why I'm mentioning this, but we're fortunate that the Japanese weren't more savvy businessmen, or else FN, instead of FN buying Winchester Browning, would have been Roku.

maroku sort of stands as this pillar of they make a lot of different guns and they make them all really really well and they don't make them in very large quantities and they turn a profit

Well, so here's an interesting one that I've actually got, is that one of the things that I am just absolutely fascinated by is the Smith & Wesson M&P 5.7. My buddy has one.

Because it's the FN, obviously the one that started it all, is straight blowback.

And it's a chunky boy.

It's a big gun.

This is hilarious because when I was like Connor's age, I used to play this PC game called Global Operations.

And you could pick up so many guns.

And my favorite gun was the FN57.

And I remember telling myself as a kid...

So I switched over from a Glock style firearm to a, um, I switched over to a two 26 before the Glock.

There was the, uh, FN five, seven.

Um, there were 1911s in there.

I've carried 1911s.

I still like, um, when it comes to, um, 5.7 by 28.

The Smith & Wesson M&P is, I prefer it to the FN 5.7.

The FN 5.7 is, the first generation doesn't feel so bad in your hands.

Second generation, I think they're coming out with a third generation because I just saw the second generations going at PSA for like $699 or $599.

Usually that tells me that they're coming out with another generation.

And when we get into the .22...

Magnum that is an obvious jump in thought process for me at least is the 5.7 the 5.7 especially the FN very proven military proven gun good power to weight ratio carry a lot of ammo both in the pistol and in your pack.

Unlike the .22 Magnum, which is a rimfire like a .22 long rifle, it's a centerfire.

So it's almost certainly going to be much more reliable than your .22 long rifle or .22 Magnum.

From my understanding, Browning has pretty much always been a subsidy of

FN.

So yeah, FN.

I don't think it's kind of like the quote-unquote Browning company.

They did the Buckmark and stuff and I honestly don't know that they ever did.
