And that data center was caught operating dozens of natural gas-powered generators when an environmental... media organization called Floodlight.

They captured thermal drone footage of that center using them.

And the data center was in its initial phases of construction.

Just a couple of weeks ago, a joint investigative report that was published by Floodlight and The Guardian, that revealed that one of the largest planned AI data centers on the East Coast is operating dozens of gas power generators without permits.

And I think this is important because we, we have friendships with people that are brokers, for instance, not only in this industry and others, and we always wanna be very clear that Floodlight specifically, we're not evaluating your company, not, we're not actually telling you this is specifically what your asset is worth.

Chemical giants rewrite state laws so nobody can prove the air is poisoned.

Floodlight reports that since 2024, Louisiana, Kentucky, and Ohio have passed nearly identical laws backed by chemical and manufacturing trade groups that bar regulators from using community-collected air data for enforcement unless it comes from EPA-approved equipment costing tens of thousands of dollars.

Meanwhile, government air monitors have fallen by nearly half in 20 years, and six in 10 counties have none.

For 71 of the 100 biggest polluters Floodlight examined, the chemical each released isn't, even most, isn't measured by any state monitor.

Industry claims it's about accuracy, but when West Virginia's lawmakers offered a compromise requiring accurate monitors, a Chemours official wrote it, quote, essentially codifies what we are trying to prevent.

The American Chemistry Council spent $22 million lobbying in 2024.

It's interesting because it makes me think about these applications where I've had more direct reports.

It's a little bit different here at Floodlight because our team members are ex-business owners.

There's a lot of things I want that floodlight ain't producing for me right now.

But I want what Floodlight can do and be.

The way it's going to serve people, the way it's going to serve our families, we see that and we have a vision for it and we are literally willing to do whatever is required to do that now.
