The Everett Silvertips are an ice hockey team at the Major Junior level, the Western Hockey League, operating as a top development league for future talent of the National Hockey League. The Silvertips are based in Everett, Wash., 28 miles north of Seattle and play a 68-game regular season schedule (34 games at home), based for all home games out of Angel of the Winds Arena in downtown Everett. The Silvertips were founded as an expansion franchise of the WHL in 2002 and began play in 2003-04, operated by Consolidated Sports Holdings International Inc., and CSH Chairman / CEO Bill Yuill.www.everettsilvertips.com
