Capital One Bank location on the Upper East Side of Manhattan was vandalized with anti-Israel graffiti on Monday.

Images of the vandalism show that the windows of the bank were smashed and red graffiti on the door said, Drop Elbit and PAL Action, like Palestinian Action.

Elbit is an Israeli defense firm and PAL Action or Palestine Action is a British activist group whose members violently raided an Elbit facility in the UK in 2024.

They have been designated as a terrorist organization by the US Treasury Department in the UK.

Palestine Action US, the group's US offshoot, rebranded as Unity of Fields in 2024.

Not clear who vandalized the bank and the nature of the relationship between those two.

Long story short, they wrote pal action.

This may have in fact been an attack on the bank because of their holdings and, uh, Elbit Israel defense firm, something like that.

Hard probably to promote this and there's been very disparate and very sometimes very wild reactions, very intense reactions to this abroad.

It culminates really with, and if you Google him, this isn't a spoiler, with him supporting Palestine action in the US, but he goes to the point with his kind of direct action around this, where he and other people get arrested by the police in the US for spray painting on a building owned by Elbit, which is an arms manufacturer.

So he gets really involved in in that kind of in that part of of campaigning in support of Palestine.

And so he's like he's kind of like he's someone who really lives by his morals, but then makes decisions that can get him and other people perhaps into these complex situations.

Next, Elbit Systems announced that it has acquired a Canadian company called International Submarine Engineering Limited, based in Port Coquitlam.

The company has received almost $1 million in grants and federal contracts.

World Israel News reports that Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and Ministry of Intelligence are utilizing networks like Foxtrot, run by Rahwa Majid, for these operations.

Incidents cited include a hand grenade discovered at the Israeli Embassy in Stockholm in January twenty twenty-four, a shooting near the Stockholm mission in May, grenade attacks on the Israeli Embassy in Brussels, and twin grenade attacks in Copenhagen, along with sabotage attempts against Elbit Systems facilities in October twenty twenty-four.

More recently, in March twenty twenty-five, British and Norwegian authorities apprehended a nineteen-year-old in the UK armed with guns, linked to Foxtrot for a contract killing ordered by Iran, marking what prosecutors called the gang's first operation on British soil.

This shift to outsourcing terror acts to local gangs is seen as a method to protect the Iranian regime and divert investigators.

And because of that single act in which nobody was injured, they were designated a terrorist organization.

There was an earlier attack at Elbit Systems factory in Bristol in which someone was badly hurt, but that person was, um, uh, convicted of the crime of assault, and rightly so, and that's not, the, the, you know, this...

After that, the organization was not classified a terrorist org- organization.

At the same time as Palestine Action was, was classified as a terrorist organization, the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, which is unquestionably by any objective standards a terrorist organization, which has directly sponsored, paid for, organized terrorism by the Houthis, by Hamas, by Hezbollah, was not, for politically expedient reasons, because the Foreign Office deemed it advantageous not to do so because it would actually damage the already rather damaged and frayed relationship with the Iranian government.
