EF Education First

Maybe the Netherlands, Singapore, um, yeah, Sweden, Finland.

They temp- typically are ranked high in what's called, the, the EF, uh, edu- educational first rankings, which they teach English well at high school level.

But what about for adults? Because I'm assuming most people who listen to your episode, and my episodes as well, are adults.

That's a great trip that you were able to go on, too.

Did you do any other travel this summer? Didn't you go with educational foundations or educational tours, EF tours?

So I go every summer with EF to the Global Leadership Summit, which this year was in Costa Rica.

Okay.

And it was all about environmental stewardship.

And why are we able to do

that? Well, because the effect is a spin-out from EF Education First, EF Education First is the world's largest language school.

So we built this technology to help EF students.

And so we've been teaching English around the world to millions of people for over 60 years.

So I have one from a long time ago in the late 90s.

We took an education first and EF group travel trip to Europe with your coworkers and your dad and a bunch of people, like 30 people.

I remember experiences from that so incredibly vivid, like just vividly.

11 would subsequently become 12 when Georg Steinhauser joined the fuga beyond the summit of the Forestal where Lemreizer had taken maximum points ahead of Porter and Leknesund.

In the peloton, Vismat and Cofidis were controlling things.

Movistar and Mass were happy but the group was too big for sustainable cohesion and so the counter and rebel moves commenced.

Eventually we had 10 in the Fuga de la Fuga, including Vincenzo Albanese of EF, who went over the next classified climb first, and Guillaume Martin and Krohn, who followed him over the top.

Two previous stage winners in this world, Brendan and Leknessand, had also made this split, like Berthe, Bisio craps for Marca and Rodriguez.

Christian of Astana, that was another Andalusian like Sugarman.

in the lead.

Back in the peloton, Skelmoser's four-plus minute advantage was causing ripples of anxiety.

EF started to ride to protect Carapaz's fourth place overall.

Then Net Company began to defend Onley's fifth and Decathlon Gao's third.

Um, but yeah, there's, there's been this, this fight for a reform in, in cycling for, to be honest, going back two, three decades, but particularly in the last three or four years.

Uh, we first had the One Cycling group, which was formed by Richard Plugge, who was the general manager of Visma-Lease a Bike, and Mia Norman, who was the president of EF Education First.
