And then so we also f- saw that some funds produce an, you know, a, an even bigger gap.

So for example, DWS, uh, fixed maturity high yield bond 2024 fund launched with a, a yield of 4.4% in 2019, but averaged just 3.9% over its life.

Okay, so the yield cited in the brochure is not necessarily the yield that you'll end up earning.

That's right, and that's particularly true with high yield funds because this, you know, that's a market where you tend to see a lot of balls being called prior to their maturity dates.
