So they send out for a Dulux color palette.

Which is very, like, stormant.

I mean, I was trying to think of what a Dublin civil service department would come up with for a compromise flag.

Rather than wrecking the place, you'd go around fixing things after hearing it.

Yeah, but it was such a brilliant idea.

I thought about the flag and then I was just going to read it just a small bit, you know, that after they'd poured over the Dulux colour palette for some time, the Reverend Whitehead announced that they were leaning towards autumn ochre as it is the most orange.

Or maybe satsuma spice.

Yeah.

There was not the Dulux color chart there is now.

Sure.

Uh, we are in Egypt.

The logic of it doesn't matter in the end.

what matters is you've got a cute animal with that appealing face that i refer to and that draws you in in the logic of it almost doesn't matter you can think of an excuse that's great i think um in the intro i mentioned i think the dulux dog i'm not sure what i did a lot but uh there's you know the old english sheep dog uh which uh advertised paint and you may think why is Dulux paint being advertised by this dog it doesn't make any sense but apparently it was just the director's dog who wandered into shot and they just kept it in back in the 60s so there was no logic there to it and yet that's probably one of the the most enduring, isn't it?
