The Dublin Zoo is closed.

The magazine fort is closed.

As a result of all of this, the Phoenix Park is closed to the public until events finish there.

That means attractions like Dublin Zoo and the Magazine Fort will be closed to visitors, while essential staff working in the park will be allowed access.

So all gates in the park, they closed at 11 o'clock last night and they're expected to remain closed until 6pm tomorrow, but it may be a little bit earlier depending on itineraries.

He's then off to County Clare for the Gulf.

Well, there's three new animals, but two species, if you like.

So they've just announced in Dublin Zoo that they're thrilled to welcome Freddie and Andrea, our new golden lion tamarins.

They're very cute looking.

All three of our new arrivals have been getting comfortable in their new homes.

Yeah, a winter body.

A naughty, just someone just to hang out with, go on a few dates, maybe go to the wild lights in Dublin Z- Dublin Zoo with, different things like that.

But apparently it started early this year in September, and it's called drafting season.

[laughs] It's almost- [laughs] Not the draft you get when you leave the door open.

And it's not exactly, I mean, not that I'm in the business of defending Donald Trump, but it's probably not really Donald Trump's fault that this is the way we've chosen to manage it on a security level.

But yeah, you can definitely see people being frustrated by it and people asking questions as to like, is there not a better way this could have been done? And as you say, like the fact that nobody really wants this, it feels like kind of hard to except at the phoenix park like you know this huge massive park this huge area public space is going to be closed off for 18 hours you know the dublin zoo as well you know that's frustrating because people like to go there too um you know so it's a weird one um i saw a good joke that uh You know, people were talking about Dublin Zoo being closed for Donald Trump's visit.

I saw a good comment online where someone was like, oh, they must be getting his cage ready.

Pretty nice.

Now, this extraordinary cat...

We are familiar with it in this country because we've had snow leopards in Dublin Zoo for many years.

But they're very shy there.

They have a large compound, but they don't come down like some of the other big cats do, right to the glass where you can look at them in the eye.
