Delahaye

It's a great way to do this.

And, um, you know, she got, she got a Delahaye in there.

Oh, the collection was-

I'm telling you right now, like, y- if you haven't been to it, you gotta come out.

Uh, we entered our Delahaye Roadster, 'cause they have a, they have a hot rod, uh, class.

Wow.

These cars could not be more different.

The Saucic Coupe looks like a vision of molten metal, this very flowing shape, long fenders, big arched rear fenders, much like a 1930s Delahaye on an acid trip.

And then the The Touring coupés are much more refined, but with incredible details, with hood openings and side vents that just are like little jewels.

And even down to the exhaust pipes, which come through the bumper and have little sort of rocket flares on them.

And then it turned out that they had an appetite for cars that I was not knowledgeable.

So these were Bugattis, Hork, HRG, Delahaye, Delage, Tabalago.

And I had to learn about all these cars.

But then we advertised because everything was in print ads at that time and Hemmings looking for these cars.

But there were guys like him.

There was one story that was interesting.

There was a Fagoni and Falaschi Delahaye 135S MS that was in San Antonio, Texas.

And they flew me down to look and try and put this deal together.
