She worked at Dapper Labs, she ran media and content for Wasserman.

And she came in, and you have these change agent moments since Court of Monarch.

Like when we come in with capital, we often come in with talent or brand relationships.

You had to have an NFT to get a ticket.

So NFTs as ticketing started in 21.

It doesn't really matter.

But my bigger point here, I'm sharing that, was...

I don't know if we get there with Ticketmaster and Dapper Labs, if not for VCon, if not for VFriends and Yuga.

This is where I talk about on-chain experimentation.

And so it got me to kind of focus and learn a lot about the space.

And, and coincidentally, one of the leading companies at the time, you know, reached out and I started, uh, working, uh, with Dapper Labs.

And, um, and then funnily enough, the person that, that hired me and poached me from Amazon at that company was the one that, uh, brought me over to Story, uh, you know, almost three years ago now.

And at Story, I've started on the technical side, then became CPO, and now I'm CEO of the Data Foundation.

And that was a kind of like a trailblazing event, right? Nowadays, we talk about it a lot with Eleven Labs, with ChatGPT, but back then it was kind of a first of its kind.

So that was also all about IP.

And then when I joined Dapper Labs, it was one of the companies that was licensing some of the most expensive IP in the world.

Disney, NBA, UFC, right? So my career has, let's say in air quotes, accidentally been around IP.

So working with a lot of IP.

Then I went to Dapper Labs, which was the company that probably in the crypto space did the most with IP, right? Disney, NBA, NFL, UFC.

And so Story Protocol initially was all focused on IP, but we went like super, super broad, right? Music, R, you know, RWAs.

And we quickly realized that data, AI training data, was where things just resonated the most, where there was this...

But I think a lot of people might not remember that it was a long slog, right? It was from 2017 up until '21 when it really sort of started to take off.

But today, Animoca has become somewhat of a conglomerate in the space.
