I've won three awards for this chili, including the chili cook-off at the Dallas Theater Center, which I was really proud of because everyone thought that it was gonna be that Cincinnati chili.

Yeah.

Then I was like, "No, no, this is Cleveland chili.

And then, you know, I just started to have a career.

And funny enough, or sad enough, is I went off to Dallas Theater Center from Sonoma County Repertory Theater and was on the artistic staff and ran their education and engagement programming there.

Well, I just remember it was a theater that really meant something to me.

By then they had lost a location and was in Sebastopol only.
