RobHOST
70:00
Yeah.
RobHOST
70:03
Now, when we did our episode, I said this was kind of interesting because Cubicle 7 does all their role playing stuff.
RobHOST
70:09
So I'm wondering why.
RobHOST
70:11
Like, we wondered, like, why isn't Cubicle 7 doing this? Is this a partnership with Cubicle 7? Are they doing this completely on their own? What's going on here? And when it disappeared, that was the immediate place everybody went was, oh, they screwed up and forgot.
RobHOST
70:26
Like a week later, the legal came back, said, you realize we have a contract with them and we can't make our own role playing games.
RobHOST
70:33
Now, that's never been confirmed.
RobHOST
70:35
In fact, Cubicle 7 on like on their social media said, we're excited to play it.
RobHOST
70:42
And no, we don't have a license for Necromunda role play.
AdamHOST
15:20
licensed out.
AdamHOST
15:21
And right now, Cubicle 7 has the RPG license.
AdamHOST
15:26
So they already have a company that does RPGs.
AdamHOST
15:28
I
JohnHOST
15:31
Yeah,
AdamHOST
15:31
so they already have a company that does RPGs, so I guess maybe that's why they just canceled it.
AdamHOST
15:35
Or maybe they could just shift it over to the Cubicle 7.
JohnHOST
15:40
Canceled.
ShaneHOST
27:17
What have you seen?
AustinHOST
27:20
What I have seen, it mainly concerns Cubicle 7, who are the publishers of Warhammer RPGs, uh, the Warhammer RPG books are published by, uh, cubicle seven.
AustinHOST
27:33
They do stuff like the Warhammer fantasy role play the, uh, 40 K role plays.
AustinHOST
27:39
Uh, so like, I think death watch, maybe inquisition, inquisition stuff, uh, those kinds of games.
AustinHOST
27:46
And, uh, It seems like what has happened is because they have now put a title of Warhammer on Necromunda, this has completely nuked their legality in producing an RPG for Necromunda.
AustinHOST
28:08
Because if Cubicle 7 owns the rights to produce...
ShaneHOST
28:13
Ancillary
AustinHOST
28:14
RPGs? If they have the rights to produce, the sole rights to produce RPGs for Warhammer, GW cannot produce an RPG under Warhammer and sell it themselves.
GJHOST
17:54
quartered pattern and Well, it's still a preview.
GJHOST
17:59
So I don't know if what's the prices this is going to be and if the sword and the helmet are going to be included I Expect they might and usually these things go for a pretty hefty price at least The replicas that they did of Galmaras are for me at least out of my price range I'd rather spend that money on miniatures anyway, so Also announced is a new edition of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 5th Edition by Cubicle7.
GJHOST
18:33
Should you be interested in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, then this might be something to keep an eye out for.
GJHOST
18:44
Finally, one last thing to mention is that along with the new Tomb Kings update, on the downloads page they also posted a new scenario, the Tomb of Eratech.
Jim HeskettHOST
45:15
We never had the Necromunda license.
Jim HeskettHOST
45:17
Wait, this is Cubicle 7 Entertainment.
Jim HeskettHOST
45:21
Okay, that's Games Workshop.
Jim HeskettHOST
45:23
That's not helpful.
Ben Crompton-BarberHOST
40:02
It's so good, isn't it?
Christopher Crowlan AllenHOST
40:03
That's from the Cubicle 7's Lustria campaign book for Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay.
Christopher Crowlan AllenHOST
40:10
Come visit
DarrenHOST
40:11
Lustria.
Ben ByrneHOST
34:33
There's a lot of theories floating around online.
Ben ByrneHOST
34:36
Cubicle 7 own the licensing or they are licensed to produce tabletop role-playing games for certain IPs from Games Workshop, including Age of Sigma and Warhammer 40K.
Ben ByrneHOST
34:48
Though Necromunda sits within...
Ben ByrneHOST
34:50
Warhammer 40k, I would anticipate it would technically be a separate IP.
Ben ByrneHOST
34:54
I'm not an IP lawyer.
Ben ByrneHOST
34:55
I don't know that for a fact.
Ben ByrneHOST
34:56
And it doesn't seem likely that it would be an issue with Cubicle 7.
Ben ByrneHOST
35:01
I wouldn't expect that to be the case.
I-Hsien SherwoodHOST
24:24
I did not like it.
I-Hsien SherwoodHOST
24:27
But since then, it has gone to Cubicle 7.
I-Hsien SherwoodHOST
24:31
Cubicle 7.
I-Hsien SherwoodHOST
24:31
Yeah, and they have it now.
I-Hsien SherwoodHOST
24:34
So the latest RPG is that one called Imperium Maledictum.
ChrisHOST
23:26
Loads of things.
ChrisHOST
23:27
Cubicle 7, I don't know anything other than what I've heard from Cubicle 7 directly on their websites and places.
HamiltonGUEST
23:35
They have responded.
HamiltonGUEST
23:36
Someone made a post on Cubicle 7's Facebook page, I think it was, or or Twitter.
HamiltonGUEST
23:41
It's
ChrisHOST
23:41
basically got nothing to do with
HamiltonGUEST
23:43
them.
HamiltonGUEST
23:43
Ask Cubicle 7, are you going to do a Necromunda RPG? And they have categorically stated, so this is, you can't, Cubicle 7 have said this outright to the public.
AaronHOST
4:18
Good evening or good afternoon and welcome back to Garblad Games.
AaronHOST
4:21
I am Aaron, I'm your Game Master, and once again we're taking up Cubicle 7's new Warhammer the Old World game as we return to the Sins of Talagad with our normal motley crew of players.
AaronHOST
4:37
If you didn't watch the last episode, go back and check it out.
AaronHOST
4:40
Now where we are currently at is the group being led by Erwin Feuerbach, our young noble, has taken a mission to protect a hidden shrine deep in the old forest, a shrine to Tal, and a small foraging group of beastmen from the great Brayherd have been moving in that direction, and the group has gone off to try to cut them off and prevent them from desecrating this shrine.
