Cosm

We've known each other for years.

Corey is the Senior VP and Head of Venues for Cosm.

And he just talked to me in the pregame that COSM stands for when the cosmos meets the Coliseum.

Right.

People don't.

Yeah,

I think it's always best to start with what Cosm is.

For those that haven't been, haven't seen it on socials, etc.

We've got a lot to play with.

and Call of Duty just had its launch party in partnership with Monster Energy Drink at Cosm, and I was there.

Plus, we've got Discord integrating into Rust, Wendy's launched its own game on Steam, and EA Sports is bringing real NFL sponsors into Madden.

Finally, of course, Sandbox VR just opened venue number 100, obviously in honor of our 100th episode.

There's a lot of experiential stuff there,

surprisingly.

And then, of course, I went to the first Game of the World series at Cosm, Detroit, which is the newest location of the Cosm.

We've gone to Cosm and things like that.

Cosm's incredible.

But yeah, they're doing this at the theater in West Plano.

And I kind of think this is where movie theaters are starting to realize, okay, we can get extra bucks if we start doing some live sports.

So you have to make, like, let's say you want to go watch the environment out and about eating and drinking with Cowboy fans.

You have different levels of, you know, experience.

On the high end is Cosm.

And seeing where Rasmussen was, like where his foot was landing compared to Mizorowski's, it was a full foot ahead of that.

And you got to see it at Cosm, which was really cool.

I did, and by the way, thanks to our friends over at Cosm for putting me on scholarship last night.

Me and a college buddy got to take it in in the dome level on the third row, the same row we saw Miami-Notre Dame a couple years ago.

And it's really cool to watch any sporting event there, but there was something about the way that was shot on those cameras at the Trop.

The reaction the Brewers got for their big moments was way higher than the Rays.

And nothing against the Rays fans, but, I mean, they were kind of priced out in Milwaukee.

And that was the cool part of seeing it at Cosm last night is they showed the big stage being wheeled out there and all the family and staffers hugging out on the field.

Why is there a waiting list for the season tickets? That allows them to raise these tickets.

I mean, what was the Cosm ticket prices? Describe that.

You discovered that the Cosm ticket prices were higher than some of the tickets in the actual stadium.

So right now, all of the Cosm tickets...

And what is Cosm? It's like a giant movie theater for sports.

Cosm, think of the Sphere in L.A., how they did, like... interactive shows and concerts with a giant spherical screen.

Yeah.

It's apparently all these super high 8K screens all put together.
