Cornerstone University

He's my best friend, and he's a stud.

He's one of the VPs at Covenant College.

I'm sorry, Cornerstone, not Covenant.

Cornerstone at Grand Rapids University.

Carroll College cutting tuition by 40%.

Cornerstone University reduced tuition by 22%.

And they're keeping it locked in, frozen, not raising tuition.

That's great.

Right now, it's kind of the inverse of that.

Although I, I do-- I wanna say this, that, um, Dr. Michael Rydelnik, formerly of Moody, now at Cornerstone University, Dr. Michael Brown, the late, great Dr. Barry Leventhal from Dallas Seminary.

I've known a lot of born-again Jews, and they would tell you there are more Jewish believers in Messiah all around the world right now than at any other time since Pentecost.

Um, and I've gotta say this, and we'll go to the next call.

Where do people go?

Well, first of all, I am right now in Grand Rapids, Cornerstone University, which is one of the tiny handful of good, great universities, solid Christian universities in America.

I'm speaking at their chapel tomorrow morning.

I'm signing books after the chapel.

I hope I'll be signing books after that.

Certainly be there to meet people.

Uh, that's Cornerstone University.

That is this-

Grand Rapids.

I'm going to Cornerstone University again.

I'm going to be at Cornerstone University this week doing a whole bunch of stuff.

There's a big wisdom conversation that they're having October 1st in the evening.

I will be a part of that.

John West, the author of many important books, many of which we've discussed on this program, and at Socrates in the City.

But now I think of him as John West, who, as I, um, am affiliated with Cornerstone University.

He is affiliated with Cornerstone University.

John West, welcome back.

Eric, it's great to be here.

Hop on the train.

It's funky flock again.

Well, listen, Cornerstone University, I, I, I get excited because, you know, people often say to me, uh, "Are there any good colleges out there?" And the short answer is no, but there are a few, actually.

In terms of his background, he taught at Denver Seminary as a professor of philosophy for more than 30 years.

And then in 2024, he joined the faculty of Cornerstone University as its first distinguished research professor of apologetics and Christian worldview, two things we talk about all the time on this program.

He is the author of more than 20 books, including the Christian Apologetics Textbook.

And he is now the co-author of a new book called What If Jesus Is Right? Examining Jesus's Claims About Himself in a World Full of Falsehoods.

That's 877-JANET-58.

Or go to inthemarketwithjanetpartial.org. We're visiting with Dr. Douglas Groteis, who really is the pinnacle of Christian thinking.

Taught for years at Denver Seminary, professor of philosophy, and in 2024 joined the faculty of Cornerstone University as its first distinguished research professor of apologetics and Christian worldview.

So another one of his new books, and I underscore another.

I'm just saying that you could, because that thing carries a lot of weight, both physically and theologically.

Dr. Groothuis currently serves as the distinguished university research professor of Apologetics and Christian Worldview at Cornerstone University.

This man is adorned with so many accolades, and he has plenty of letters after his name.

He truly has a brilliant mind, and he has employed that mind for God's glory and the good of the church for many decades.
