Yeah, well, it's kind of interesting in the UK because there was this, I suppose there was this alternative indie scene and, I mean, she wasn't an alternative indie artist, but she obviously slipped in there because you had, like you mentioned, Billy Bragg and then there was, you know, there was quite a few acoustic kind of stand-up, yeah, musicians, you know, almost like protest singers, I suppose, who wanted to sing about, you know, like we had the Falkland War, then we had the miners' strike in this country, lots of unemployment.

So when Michelle Shock came along with her first album before Short Sharp Shock, I mean, that kind of picked up a bit of an audience and there was Cooking Vinyl Records in the UK and there was, oh yeah, you know, there was, there was kind of space for that person.

I mean, I've got a home set up behind me, but, There'll be plenty of people who have got much more elaborate setups and people who've got literally, I think, was it Michelle Schacht recorded a record on a dictaphone in a field at a festival? I think her debut album and, you know, someone signed her, I think, and put that record out on Cooking Vinyl years ago.
