Yes, we took a break.

We took a whole of October 87 to go to Compass Point Studios in Nassau to record what eventually became Amused to Death.

Okay.

The reason I'm laughing outrageously is that it was the most extraordinary culture clash ever.

The only way Will and Jeff agreed to make a record was to do it somewhere that could double as a vacation.

But their time spent at Compass Point Studios in Nassau, Bahamas was a boondoggle.

Their budget was fucked.

They blew through 10 grand daily on nightclubs, rum punch, jerk chicken, and women.

Yes.

And that I, that I was like, "Well, maybe I could try playing it, um, on the recording." And, and we were at Compass Point Studios a- and I was not gonna play guitar, but I did, I think because-
