Comedy Bang Bang World

and I feel the production's too high yeah I don't like like why do I have to be such a purist dose about everything But I'm like, it is my Latin life.

Comedy Bang Bang has been everything to me.

I trust every guest that's on there to promote something.

I've bought films on DVD that never got a cinema release because of... and the actor's ability to play with the format of Comedy Bang Bang and I love the fact that Scott Ackerman has this multi-million dollar empire and nobody knows who the fuck he is and it's the dream that he's got a nice house and a nice family and he's set up and every time he has a live show it'll sell out And nobody would spot him on the street except weirdos like me.

And I love...

And Comedy Bang Bang was a very early one.

And it was someone trying to do radio, but with their very silly friends doing silly bits.

Yeah.

We should do that as its own podcast.

It'll be a direct competitor to Comedy Bang Bang, Scott Ackerman.

Scott hasn't seen where he actually watches and then talks about a movie where I have seen and just do a bad job of describing what happens in the movie.

Okay, moving on.

Yeah.

And then in 2017, I had started to do more podcasts for like the now defunct, but at the time pretty tight, like big studio network for comedy podcast Earwolf, which is where Comedy Bang Bang is.

Yeah.

They let me do my own podcast.

As soon as the show is over, it is very lonely to be traveling alone, and you just, you go back to wherever you're staying.

And it does feel different than, like when I'm touring with Comedy Bang Bang, or when I've toured with any tour co or improv thing, there's a sense of camaraderie that gives you a good feeling after a good show.

But sometimes a good feeling after the good show is just, the show was good, now the show is over, and now I'm with people who I find interesting and fun.

And it actually is the good feeling sometimes isn't even really connected to the show.

Oh, my word.

Well, we do have more, uh, Comedy Bang Bang coming up, uh, on the road.

We'll be in, um, back on the East Coast, uh, next month.

I would make them for people I was a fan of and shit.

You were talking about Comedy Bang Bang.

Eventually, I ended up getting to work with Earwolf Podcast Network, which that's where Comedy Bang Bang, that's the production company of Earwolf.

And they hired me

to paint a bunch

And I was just like, this is insane.

It was a crazy ass opportunity.

And like, I, but it came from my love for what they were providing me with laughter and, and, um, like fucking um comfortability or like just like connecting and vibing with the podcast and like religiously listening to it then i started sending my art and eventually they're like yo we thank you like you know and they gave you shout outs blah blah blah and then they're like yo we want you to do all these shoes like are you open to do that i was like yeah for sure and then that was just crazy so whatever more whatever um shoe banter that was just like a cool really dope ass opportunity and you know comedy bang bang and shit so The shoes are still out there, and it's in Los Angeles, and they're in glass cases somewhere out there.

That might be something I will go and add.

Yeah, well, I signed up for Comedy Bang Bang World or whatever the premium service is.

I mean, when it works, it works really well.

When it doesn't, you just skip it.

But then I joined Comedy Bang Bang World, which is like their little podcast network in and of itself.

Because, by the way, I think Scott Ackerman co-created the Earwolf Network and then probably sold it for a bunch of money to Spotify or something.

Well, I started listening to podcasts like when I was in college and I like comedy podcasts.

So I loved Comedy Bang Bang.
