College of the Sequoias

Mike Lacoste and I had gone back.

When I was at Fresno, he grew up in Visalia, and I went down to Visalia all the time because the coach at Fresno State, the previous coach, my head coach, Bob Bennett, Pete Biden was helping out at College of Sequoias in Visalia.

So I'd go down there and talk to his pitchers and work out and throw bullpens and do stuff like that down there.

And Mike Lacoste was always around.

But now what's going to happen with AB 2540 is to have the student health centers of all the community colleges in California provide the abortion pill.

So College of the Sequoias immediately becomes an abortion clinic.

And again, there was a lot of talk about this.

We were actually able to work with our friends at Students for Life and our good friend Bernadette Tacey came up and did a lot of activism on this.
