Okay, there's a couple of issues, okay, with the Cognite thing, all right? Here's another reality in the market.

People are moving away from cloud.

They're not moving towards it.

It was a marketing campaign.

So what's interesting is it says a Haaretz investigation revealed that Israeli cyber companies develop technology that exploits the advertising system at the heart of the online economy to monitor surveillance, excuse me, to monitor civilians hack into their phones and computers and spy on them.

And at this point, we're not talking about, you know, the government doing this to you for their purposes, but rather an outside entity doing this, then kind of selling that ability and information.

And I says, this is a terrifying capability against which no defense currently exists.

However, another concerning surveillance trend has flown under the radar since 2023.

Local and state police departments across the country have purchased technology for real-time monitoring of smart devices from the Israeli firm Cognite Solutions LP.

Otherwise, it's called just Cognite.

I'm sure you guys also seen that the Texas Department of Public Safety just spent $4.5 million on four Chevy Tahos.

The base model for the Chevy Tahoe costs around $55,000, but when you add on the Israeli-based surveillance tech made by Cognite, it jumps to around a million dollars.

So in part one, I talked about the Georgia International Law Enforcement Exchange.

I talked about how they like to work.

Instead of being built for high speed chases, they're built to supply continuous heavy electrical power to military grade surveillance hardware hidden inside the cabin.

The remaining 3.9 million went directly to a foreign intelligence and defense vendor called Cognite.

Cognite is a publicly traded spinoff of Verint Systems, often described as a direct competitor of Palantir and NSO Group.

They specialize in what the defense industry calls tactical intelligence solutions, which is software and hardware designed to snoop on target communications.

While Cognite historically sold most of its gear to intelligence agencies in Europe and the Middle East, they have been aggressively expanding into U.S. law enforcement market.

Texas wasn't the first.

Florida State Police previously dropped nearly 800,000 on cognite surveillance packages.

In older generations of this tech, the original stingrays from a decade ago, police could only force older 2G or 3G phones to connect.

It's delivering equipment specifically designed for intelligence and national security operations onto our private streets in the United States.

Forbes discovered that Texas purchased four specially equipped Chevy Tahoes from an Israeli firm, I don't know if I can get this right, but I think it's Cognite, for $4.5 million.

These vehicles contain a system known as Falconet, which functions as a cellular interception platform.

The system imitates... cell phone towers, causing your mobile phone to connect to the police car instead of the carrier's network.

This allows the police to identify devices and determine your location and to collect other cellular information on you.

This same tech could be carried in a backpack or placed on helicopters, giving expanded surveillance.

Cognite is an advanced tech company that was built on supplying intelligence, counterterrorism and surveillance capabilities to governments around the world.

Now, these high tech surveillance capabilities are being offered to sheriff departments, state police agencies and local law enforcement across the U.S. Law enforcement departments are investing in tech to gather enormous amounts of information before anyone has even been accused of breaking the law.
