Circus Center

Probably in the room training, you have someone who's, like, 65 plus all the way down to someone who's 18.

So you have someone who's, like, literally foot into the door and someone who, you know, has been part of the whole or a large part of the circus history in Australia in the same room learning together, which is really only happening at Circus Center Melbourne in that kind of way.

Not to say in any way it doesn't happen in any way in other places, but on a day-to-day basis, not connected to a project, but just individual artists being in the room together-

So we have artist development programs, like professional development for circus artists.

At the moment, we're running one in act creation.

So the artistic director of Flying Fruit Fly Circus, Annie Davey, who is a circus legend, has come down from Albury and been working with a group of artists to create a new circus act, and then we're gonna then present those acts in a intimate cabaret at Circus Center Melbourne.

So we're adding that kind of performance element in there, and we're going to have the cabaret photographed and also filmed, thanks to Press Room, and then we can give the footage and photos to those artists.
