[laughs]

... living in a Chuy's.

A Chuy's.

Living in a J- uh, what am I thinking of? Not Chuy's.

Oh.

Oh.Chili's?

Uh, a lot of them through their loyalty app, and they're, they require a minimum purchase.

At Chuy's you get a free entree if you dress up as a taco and post a picture on social media

mediaUh, how b- how b- how big a discount we talking? 'Cause-

I'll start it where you-

Those were the days.

I cannot believe I got broken up with in a Chuy's.

[laughs]

[laughs] We'll revisit that.

That's the other way.

You could've gone to Chuy's.

[laughs] Yeah.

[laughs] I, I almost floated, I was like, "Uh, there's a Chuy's."

[laughs]

[laughs]

I don't think Holly wants to ever go to a Chuy's.

Yeah.

I took a picture of it when we-- at the time when we were there.

It was before Chuy's went, like, nationwide.

Mm.

And I had the best flipping chicken enchiladas I've ever had.

Yes

... like that in any-

You won't find them at Chuy's either

...

So I, I changed my major to, uh, art and primarily concentrated in ceramics.

I was taking a ceramics class, making, uh, this series of small fish, and I was able to, uh, go into Austin one day, and we saw a sign in Chuy's restaurant looking for artists.

It was actually a, an assignment from the teacher.

They, she wanted a, a modular piece, several similar pieces, and I thought, "Well, a school of fish." So a friend of mine had some fish in a fish tank at his house that he'd caught out of the San Marcos River, some perch, and I bought a perch from him for $10.

I molded that fish, and that fish became the original nexus to the whole creation of all the Fish With Attitude.

Fish With Attitude was basically, uh, der- derived from my six-week art show that turned into 18 years at Chuy's.

And then, you know, once I got the Chuy's gig, then it got exponential, and then I was in all the Chuy's.

And, and then I got the Deck the Walls, and then it was, you know, Whole Foods, and did, did work for ZZ Top.
