Christian Family Movement
Christian Family Movement is a religious institutions non-profit company based out of Severna Park, Maryland 21146. A volunteer board of 20 lay leaders and a priest chaplain develop study materials for small groups. Members join a movement for improving family life by reaching out to live the Gospel by acts of prayer, service, and charity. The Christian Family Movement-USA is a parish-based national network of small groups of Catholics and their families. Members of all faith traditions are welcome. CFM-USA is a member of the International Confederation of Christian Family Movements ICCFM and the National Association of Catholic Family Ministers NACFLM. CFM-USA maintains a national office, staffed by one Executive Director.www.cfm.org

And while there are a few people who say, "Birth control isn't okay, it's a moral teaching of the church," and there are a few people who feel that they are really glad that they used rhythm, that it strengthened their marriage, or whenever they had children that weren't intended, God was able to provide, the vast majority of their respondents say, "We think that the pill is an acceptable form of birth control according to Catholic law, and we are waiting eagerly for the church to approve it." And indeed, the Papal Commission on Birth Control in 1966 gives their decision to the Vatican, and they vote 80% to 20% in favor of approving the birth control pill.
