Well, talk about him going at CFMoto at one point, wasn't he?

Wasn't it rumoured for ages that he was going to ride a factory CFMoto and World Superbike? Already? For ages I thought that was a real thing, but evidently then he got announced at Ducati, so he's not.

Aspar, just talking about CFMoto because it's CFMoto but it's not CFMoto but it's that team.

Brandon, yeah.

It used to be the Yamaha.

Now it's going to be the CF Moto.

So you will have a full grid of racers all on CF Motos on a world broadcast every race weekend.

That is a lot of eyes on a brand that a few years ago, most Americans never even heard of.

And CF Moto is not a small player here anymore.

The brand has about 800 dealers in the United States right now, and it's growing fast.

First with the cheap, capable side-by-sides, and more recently with a strong lineup of middleweight street bikes that undercut a lot of the big names on price.

And the 675SRR is the right bike to do it.

On green lanes, that's off-roading, the 660 would be too much for me.

It's too much power.

But the CF Moto is a confidence-boosting friend.

On the motorway, I wouldn't want to be on either bike.

Well, the interesting thing is, and here's where the Chinese manufacturers have really started to do the base of some of their engineering, their design on European.

And they've done it, and this company's called CFMoto.

And everybody would have heard of Honda and Yamaha and Suzuki and those sort of companies.

But I would say until probably two years ago, maybe three years ago, I'd never heard of them.

As you know, we've done numerous of these trips.

We tried out the Himalayan, the Royal Enfield Himalayan, which is a lovely little bike and there's a lot to be said for that.

Also these Chinese CF Motos, which I were a bit circumspect about in the beginning, but they've come a long way and they're very, very nice things.

And every other brand of bike that you can think of pretty much has an adventure bike equivalent.

Triumph has another one, even Ducati.

I think one of the things that's probably the most interesting for me is obviously the rumour we heard was Albert Arenas.

Now, the rumours I had heard was Arenas might be tied in with CFMoto.

I'm not going to be that surprised if it turns out that Go11 end up being the CFMoto team downstream.

There's no real talk of it just yet, but CFMoto are going to need someone that's got that experience to be able to run a program.

And for Go11, they had been Kawasaki, they switched to Ducati.

They'll do whatever's right for them.

We thought that when we saw it, some of us thought the series was going away.

Then a few days later, it was announced that CFMoto is going to be the bike for next year or next few years.

I don't know what the exact details of the contract are, but hopefully it's two to three years.

The first part, I mean, I was like...

I know she dominates there, and it's good to see that they didn't lose that.

So their series is pretty competitive.

And to the listener's benefit...

CF Moto and all these other brands are making this abundantly clear.

You can now get all these big, bad touring bikes from all these Chinese companies, and they have absolutely every electronic feature you can possibly imagine.

There's some clunky shit in there to include throttle maps or whatnot, but you can get all that stuff.

They're great to learn on, you know? And nowadays, That's a big deal.

And you can get into these things for maybe the $2,500, $3,000 range, brand new even, from Honda or Yamaha or Kawasaki and things like that, or CFMoto, one of the new entries in there.

And I've seen these 300 CCs or 250 CCs, which is a good size.

You can go on the freeway on that, something like that.
