Crystal RackGUEST
7:54
absolutely and that's what care source is about is empowering people who are on medicaid to make a choice in their managed care organization we are one of those choices and care source is one of the only non-profit managed care organizations out there in ohio and what we do is we offer enhanced benefits to help people that are that brian are helping out there in other ways so how can we get a life coach for somebody to help them manage their finances so they don't get into a crisis mode again So a lot of people think Medicaid, they think medical, dental, vision, but really some managed care organization like CareSource, it's so much more.

Anson FrericksGUEST
26:34
Yeah, I mean, there's just two key things, very simple.
Anson FrericksGUEST
26:38
One, are we lowering the total cost of care to care for these individuals? And then two, are these people getting qualitatively and quantitatively healthier and better? So on the first front, in terms of lowering costs, one of our investors is CareSource, which is the largest Medicaid insurance company in the state of Ohio, one of the largest ones in the Midwest.
Anson FrericksGUEST
26:58
We're going to Georgia next.
Anson FrericksGUEST
26:59
It's one of their markets.
Anson FrericksGUEST
27:00
They can give us patient level information that shows before a Radley Care peer intervened and is doing the ongoing navigation.
Anson FrericksGUEST
27:08
What were the cost of these people? How many times are they showing up in the ER? How many times are they showing up for other specialty visits? And what was the cost? And we just got back information this past week from CareSource showing that once we intervene and after six months, we have definitively driven down by 20% the number of times that people are utilizing ERs and utilizing outpatient care.
Anson FrericksGUEST
27:33
And we've therefore driven down the cost by about 20% of these individuals.
Anson FrericksGUEST
27:36
And these are large numbers when a lot of these patients cost on average almost $100,000 a year in medical costs and fees and behavioral health stays.
