Harvest Hosts

So that's the serendipity.

We stayed at a Harvest Host in Pennsylvania, and there were only two campers there.

They had space for two campers.

This other camper pulls in, and they're from my hometown.

But we will...

There's this... thing called harvest hosts where you can go and stay overnight and there might be for example we're staying at a vineyard that you can camp there providing you go and drink some of their wine so we do a short stay at a couple of places and then we'll park up somewhere on the saturday or the sunday for a few weeks at a time um so that's been great so uh yeah so we're doing friday we're going to be doing about 200 miles saturday we'll do 300 and then we're staying just outside washington dc for two weeks wow

and I should also tell folks JB wasn't working yesterday because you were learning to tow so you had someone come and teach you to tow this RV right in your monster truck how did that go

yeah we had a lady called Penny from Kentucky so she travelled all the way from Kentucky um to come and teach us and yeah it was fun it was great the the park we were in were really nice they so it was kind of like going back to doing your driving test we were doing kind of reversing it in we're doing different maneuvers and then we went out onto the highway so we were probably out for about eight or nine hours actually driving yesterday how'd you

And that's what this book is about is how do you build those tools to manage situations where people are watching you? So I fast forward two years later and we're doing what I call harvest hopping.

You've heard of Harvest Host, right?

Yes, yes.

So we do like harvest.

We'll stay at like three or four different harvest host locations in between these major stays.

And we will stay at ostrich farms, alpaca farms, peacock ranches, all these really cool experiences.

And so last month we were leaving Texas.

Yeah.

So I think another option that is great for exactly that, that situation, um, I don't know if you've heard of Harvest Hosts.

There's also a company called RV Overnights, and what they do, and Harvest Hosts is, is kind of the OG.

They're not that old.

They're less than 10 years old, and I think Ov- RV Overnights is, is even younger than that.

But they partner with...
