Um, now the basketball season will be in full swing next November, which is when the WTA Finals are happening, and because of the frequency of home games, the finals will be reduced from eight to five days, which will likely affect revenue for the tournament.

Um, Camilo says the WTA has already started exploring alternative formats with the players, but if the round-robin element of the tournament survives, the finalists would need to play every day.

Matt, what was your reaction to this news?

I think on the whole, positive.

This news is off the back of the news that Simon Briggs broke in The Telegraph during the US Open that the WTA is in a very tough spot financially, and if it were to remain on its current course, it would end up in a dire, uh, financial situation, potentially bankruptcy financial situation within the next couple of years.

Maybe they'll have, like, one day of practice for players to get acclimatized to the arena.

Uh, but only five event days is what Camilo said on this, uh, on this call.

So they'll have to make some structure changes.
