A job description might loudly declare that a degree is not required, but the hidden hiring systems processing your application tell a completely contradictory story.

They are actively going out and recruiting philosophy majors and literature majors and history majors who've been taught reason and judgment calls.

This is something that our friends at Burning Glass should write up right away because I think it's something that anecdotally everybody is saying.

And I think that maybe a few people are reluctant to believe it, but it's definitely something that I am beginning to hear as you are.

And it's funny because two or three years ago, AI has changed the dynamic here.
