British Association for Shooting and Conservation

So good to have you with us.

Tom here, back with another episode from BASE, the British Association for Shooting and Conservation.

And autumn is well and truly upon us now.

And with the game season underway, the British countryside is delivering a wonderful harvest of wild food.

And our wildfowling documentary, Call of the Marsh, though you're not going to be able to see it until next August.

The trailer is on the British Association of Shooting and Conservation's YouTube.

Let me see.

Call of the Marsh.

And this is kind of a long history of shooting geese there.

And the guy who set up that wild fowling club, and then set up what became BASC, as we know today, the British Association of Shooting and Conservation Association, He was very concerned about wealthy people from the south of England sort of exclusively buying up or buying up the exclusive shooting rights to bits of foreshore while fouling.

So, you know, so there's this long kind of thing going on there.

So I just really went at access in so many different ways.
