Um, they use the data, uh, for, um, lobbying for...

The GWCT use it to sort of deepen their understanding of the shooting world.

Who's, who's shooting at the moment? Gemma, what, what are your thoughts on that?

Uh, so we chat a lot in the office about kind of who our target market is and who kind of uses GunsOnPegs.

But again, this survey isn't just our users, it's BASC, it's GWCT, it's Countryside Alliance, so it allows us to look at kind of, uh, the industry as a whole.

But Diggers, if you were to sort of sum up what the average gun looks like, um, using kind of the data that we've drawn.

Maybe he will learn the error of his ways, I don't know.

But I do pay, you mentioned the court case, and I think we should pay a real tribute to BASC.

They used their fighting fund to launch this judicial review on releasing game birds in special protected areas.

and the real damage that Natural England was doing was that you had to get a licence to release game birds on special protected areas, and they were refusing well over 90% of those licences.

And what that does is it allows us nearly 12 months, 8, 9 months of... private showings sure so we're going to take it around the uk we want to get it into some film festivals we we have intent to to show it in parliament to uh have a we've actually hired a cinema for the premiere in in preston so we're going to be showing it in a dedicated cinema which we're really excited about um so so the idea is that by taking it around these uh these winter time to springtime showings that we can show it to an audience that wouldn't necessarily naturally seek out a film like this yeah

oh well we look forward to that we'll update everyone on the pod when that is available that's brilliant um james let's just look then at some of the key areas that basque is working on with wildfowlers at the moment i want to start with consenting if that's all right with so much wildfowling taking place on protected estuaries and marshes Just talk me through how BASC is helping clubs navigate that process and secure the permissions they need.

Uh, and that was a real shame because there was no need for what they were asking us for.

And this is where I wrote to BASC and they were horrified.

And actually, you know, there was a bit of help there.

So I think, um, You know, licensing, again, I assume you got yours when you were on the farm and growing up and, you know, just arrived.
