Bradford City AFC

I find Drury interesting in particular because I talk about him being a rookie manager.

He did have some experience with Bradford City, didn't he? He took charge as a joint manager, I think, for a short period of time, something like that.

You talked about his intensity.

One of the things that I have been finding interesting is, and it's not really specific to Drury, but managers in general and how fans enjoy or otherwise what they say publicly.

Arsenal won, Fleetwood Town won at Highbury, and Arsenal beaten on penalties.

I mean, it's so funny, the images that were being played before the game of the Bradford City game.

Many of you listening may not be old enough to have... gone through that game consciously and in the same amount of emotions that you go through yesterday's game.

So it was very, very similar in many, many ways.

We won't be doing a show tomorrow morning because I'm taking a bit of a break.

So I'll be back on Friday morning and you'll have a show there.

Yeah, let's get into today's show, shall we? We begin with a flashback, because it feels like a flashback, doesn't it? Fleetwood won, Arsenal won, Bradford City won, Arsenal won.

It feels very, very similar.

Well done to him.

Bradford City beat Peterborough 2-0 in the All-League 1 clash.

So they joined Fleetwood in the last eight and the draw for that.

next round we've met after tonight's matches.

Very, very happy about scoring the winner against Arsenal as well.

Bradford City beat Peterborough 2-0 in the League Cup as well.

It was an all-League-1 clash there.

They joined Fleetwood in the last eight and the draw for that will be made after tonight's games.

And that's the difference at that level of the game.

But there's something about the League Cup that's kind of made for teams like Fleetwood and maybe a lower level Premier League side like 2013, that final, Swansea City against Bradford City.

I remember watching that as a neutral because I don't care who wins this it's just great and Swansea hammered him Michael Laudrup was manager our friend and he won him with them and he's probably a club legend now Swansea we don't know where he is we don't know where your friend in the

show

The game in normal time finished 1-1.

Bradford City also progressed, beating Peterborough United by two goals to nil.

That's the latest from Radio News Hub.

I'm Jules Eaterbridge.

In Carabao Cup action, there are two matches tonight.

Bradford City taking on Peterborough.

And Arsenal go to a stadium that's named after their former home, Highbury, when they take on Fleetwood in the fifth round of the competition.

So those are just some of the sporting matters taking place.

Not that busy.

League Cup, Bradford City against Peterborough tonight at a quarter to ten in England.

Fleetwood host Arsenal at ten o'clock tonight.

Watch this.
