I'm listening to it while mixing or something to not get too much into the technical headspace but see it at face value or something which is really hard but I just find that really funny and cool to try to be honest at some point it doesn't work anymore and it's just in your head too much and you just need to give it some space I was happy with it on a technical level and uh i i think also on the on the hopefully like a a first listen uh idea in my head um but um i i must say that i'm uh i'm not i've not like been hugely um um inspired to go back and listen to it uh for a while i have to listen to it once in a while for for boring stuff but yeah most of the time with records when it's actually out which is a little under a month from now then I can listen to it again and hear it through other people's ears hopefully and most of the time I'm actually quite okay with how it turned out then but I'm in my enthusiasm lull now

RichardHOST
38:45
Bella Union, I went John Grant.
RichardHOST
38:47
It was two record companies, because Sub Pop was very much a Seattle thing.
RichardHOST
38:51
And obviously, Bella Union, they started the band called SARS, T-Z-A-R-S, and John Grant was part of that, and then John Grant went solo, which we did a preview of their album previously, which I'm a, deep down, I'm a really massive fan of them.
RichardHOST
39:08
That's irrelevant, so that made me think, oh good, so two established record companies, and That's what they used the music on.
