That's why growing up in Virginia, which I actually went to high school with some guys you probably know from Baroness, but that was the only team that was on TV in the mountains of Virginia, TBS.

We just heard a wonderful song from Savannah George's own Baroness off of their excellent 2009 record called Blue, or The Blue Record, I guess.

Really, really amazing stuff there on display by Baroness.

Kind of setting the tone for us this evening, because I'm not sure if you've had the chance to note it or remark upon it, but it's August 27th, which means we are kind of all... you know, in our own way, trying to struggle with the end of summer.

August is over, September is almost here, and all that it promises is right around the corner, so I figured I'd do a show that feels like August, you know? That's sort of weird, almost like the Sunday of the months, you know? especially in Calgary where it's still hot, it's still sunny, but there's just, you can feel something in the air.
