The ASE Education Foundation has just put out resources that have to do with how these apprenticeships work, how you can qualify, all the details.

Any shop, any franchise, any dealership can receive up to $3,500 for every apprentice they hire and get to a certain level.

Now, the trick to this is the employer has to have an approved apprenticeship program.

I think this is a really awesome thing they put in there to keep morale up as we go through the program.

And then finally, this program supports content for ASE certification tests, the suspension and steering, brakes, auto maintenance and light repair, and electric vehicle awareness and safety.

I actually like that because since you're getting 2,000 hours of hands-on experience and you're learning about content that has to do with these tests, you have no reason not to get those ASE certifications as an apprentice because you already know the content and you qualify with your hands-on experience.
