Today I'll be sharing information from A Search for God, Book One, Chapter Four, entitled Faith, which is based on Edgar Cayce readings two sixty-two dash thirteen through two sixty-two dash seventeen.

But it's not a footnote.

Cayce's organization, the Association for Research and Enlightenment, still exists in Virginia Beach.

And back in the 70s, the Edgar Cayce Foundation actually helped fund the early Egypt work of a young man named Mark Lehner, who went to Giza partly out of interest in the Cayce material.

Lehner went on to become one of the most respected mainstream archaeologists of the Giza Plateau, and came to the conclusion that the Sphinx was carved in the reign of the Pharaoh Khafre about 4,500 years ago, which is a long way from Atlantis.

Reading thirty-nine fifty-four dash one says, "Thy prayers ascend to the throne of God, and the angel of each entity stands before the throne to make an intercession." We'll now begin to return, taking a deep breath in, cleansing breath out, opening your eyes and reconnecting to the world around you, returning in peace and in love.

And now in closing, John Van Auken on the Association for Research and Enlightenment's Spiritual Growth Pages tells us that Taoist master, uh, Lao Tzu taught, "Whoever is seeking eternal life must search for the place from whence essence and life originally sprang." Edgar Cayce agrees in reading fifty-three sixty-seven dash one, "For in the beginning, God said, 'Let there be light.' You are one of those sparks of light with all the ability of creation, with all the knowledge of God." And in reading two ninety-four dash eight, it's suggested that we were there in the beginning when the morning stars sang together and the whispering winds brought the news of the coming of humanity's indwelling, when man became the living soul.

Also, Jesus indicates our pre-existence when he prays to God, "And now glorify thou me together with thyself, Father, with the glory that I had with thee before the world was." This statement, before the world was, indicates that our souls were alive before the world was.

Today we'll be sharing information from the 2012 book titled The Pocket Thich Nhat Hanh.

a professional intuitive at the time, had been for a few years, you know, doing readings for pay for a few years.

And I had been recognized by the ARE, Association for Research and Enlightenment, the Edgar Cayce Foundation.

And they asked me to work with Dr. Henry Reed to set up a series of conferences for professional intuitives back in Virginia Beach.

And so I worked with Henry, Dr. Reed, and in this one conference, I said, I'd like it to really be focused on health and healing.

And sure enough, I started getting all of these messages in writing.

Well, around 1990 or so, the ARE, that's Edgar Cayce's Association for Research and Enlightenment, had a big conference in Chicago on how to become your own psychic.

And they had quite a few well-known speakers.

And Henry Reed, who later became my mentor at Atlantic University, said, had this pamphlet that he handed out, and it said there were the two things that ARE said not to do were automatic writing and Ouija board.
