Rob Walton retired from Walmart's board in 2024 after more than four decades as a director, including more than 20 years as chairman.

Jim Walton still chairs the family's $26 billion in assets, Arvest Bank Group.

Alice Walton's path to becoming America's wealthiest woman began in 1953, when her shop owner father shrewdly gave 80% of his ownership of the family holding company to his children nine years before opening the first Walmart, sidestepping a huge future estate tax bill.

Alice graduated from Trinity University in Texas in 1971 with a business administration degree.

So our office is kind of right in the heart, in the middle of all of it.

For those who've been to the office, for those who haven't, um, we're right across from the Arvest drive-through, the Gateway Bank, um, branch.

Oh, sure.

And, you know, we look out to the right, and we see Price Tower, and we look out to the left, and we see RSU.

But somebody mentioned yesterday, you know, why are we last kind of thing? And if you think about, you know, with the Waltons, Tyson, J.B.

Hunt, Jim with Arvest, all the industry that we have, you would think, and I know that Rob's not doing what, you know, Tyson's doing, but it would be nice if we could get something like that.

I don't have the answers at all, but I would love to be able to somehow get involved like that.

I don't know if like the lottery, you know, some type of thing to where, you know, we get the billboards that say buy a quarterback and then somehow have the ability for people that don't have the type of funds that Miss Lisa does to be able to get some type of return on their investment.

He was the president, I guess.

And Donnie Story was the Arvest president at the time.

And so he was there.

And also Jim Fram was there.
