Oh, great question.

Yeah, I worked in a performing arts centre, Arts Commons, now known as Workland Centre.

And I mean, I've always really loved film.

I have a degree in English literature.

I like photography.

So like that was a little bit of a creative thing that I started doing, like volunteered as a photographer for a couple of places.

but I found it really hard to like get to the artistic side of things so like to work in programming and to work in the curation like all of that like it's sort of like I mean I don't know if other folks have talked to you about this but like I do feel like it is at least in our city programming is sort of like you need to have the experience and maybe like the schooling for it but also it's really hard to just like get that experience and that happens with a lot of jobs but like I find with programming is sort of like there is no actual like degree that can get you to be a programmer, right? Like even if it's like for like performing arts or for film or et cetera, like, yes, some streams can get you there, like being, you know, like a film studies major or like being you know like a cultural like you know like things like that but I do feel like it's a combination of so many things and I kind of like started asking people like how do you get into programming like we'll take people for coffee and like You know, at that time it was at a work loan center because I don't know if I skipped a little bit of this, but like from Wordfest, I ended up having a job at Arts Commons because Wordfest used those venues as for their 20th anniversary.

They used to like Big Secret Theater and like the motel.
