Arkas Container Transport

We have seen the Russian carrier, Fesco, have a vessel being attacked and sunk.

We have also had Turkish container line, Akron lines, have a vessel being attacked.

For now, that appears to result in MSC having stopped booking acceptance, at least into Russia and Port of Novorossiysk in the Black Sea.

And Akron Line seems for now to have ceased acceptance into Russia altogether.

So whilst during the four years of the Russia-Ukraine war, there has been multiple carriers that have been servicing Russia also in the Black Sea, that right now seems to be changing on account on a step up of also successful drone attacks against container vessels in that region.
