Uh, clampers takes at Dublin City after nearly 30 years.

Um, so Dublin Street Parking Services, DSPS, uh, they've had the contract since 2004, but a new five-year, 51 million euro, uh, enforcement contract has gone to APCOA.

You might use the APCOA app when you're parking.

And it's interesting, it's there on the front of The Times today, there's going to be four zones, and the enforcement will differ in different zones.

Um, so they're going to be depending more on people complaining.

And yesterday, for example, the bin lorry couldn't get up.

Um, and, and that's happened increasingly.

So, we'll be able to ring, um, APCOA and say, "No, no, no." Of course, there are no yellow lines, they're just parked badly.

Can I just mention, uh, when you mention clamping and the word APCOA, of course, everybody has a clamping story, and we have filled many hours over the years with regards to clamping stories.

There was a time when right into municipal districts, as opposed to APCOA working for private companies, there was clamping.

And almost a quarter of them, more than 5,100, were successful.

And then when we look specifically at APCOA, there's another striking figure.

So far this year, 54% of APCOA's second stage appeals decided by the NTA have resulted in the motorist release charge being refunded.

And then there's the question of money.

APCOA clowned more than 123,000 vehicles nationwide in the last two years.

Their clamp release fee is €125.

Now, I repeatedly asked the company how much revenue it generates specifically from clamping, but its response was simply, Avcoa will not be providing data or figures in relation to our clamping business.

In many new housing developments, particularly in Dublin and the commuter counties, parking spaces can be limited and households may only be allocated one parking permit.

It's basically saying that concerns over Heathrow's airport new taxi management dispatch system have been formally raised with Heathrow and facilities operator APCOA on behalf of licensed London taxi drivers.

Legal taxi solicitors wrote to both organisations on the 12th of August after receiving reports that drivers are being prevented from working because of alleged technical failures and system controls.

Systems currently being introduced to test at the airport went beyond the initial problems that might be expected during the testing phase.
