Got a review of the new record by a long-standing, speaking of long-standing German duos like Haujob, Synapscape.

Their new LP, The Future, is out now on Antzen.

I feel like it very much kind of continues in a vein somewhat similar to the preceding record, The Stable Mind, in that, yes, Synapscape still are at one level very much the band that was one of the kind of the key pillars and kind of like formative presences within rhythmic noise or rhythmic industrial power noise, whatever you want to call it, lo those many years ago.

They still are working in that vein to a certain degree, but a large amount of other sounds have begun to kind of show up some of which you can maybe perhaps connect to Philip Munch's other projects that he has a hand in, but also I think are just kind of maybe connected to the preceding generations and the preceding styles of industrial that came before rhythmic industrial did.
