The trauma-informed principles that you then tend to apply are things like promoting physical and emotional psychological safety, fostering trust, fostering transparency, thinking about and promoting inclusion, leveling hierarchy, which can be super complicated in healthcare, So seeking opportunities for peer support and mutual support, empowerment, voice and choice, and then attention to bias, exclusion, difference, all of these things that might, I think, modify and shape how someone experiences the other principles like safety or trust or transparency, right? Inclusion or why they're not experiencing those things.

Um, so I initially started working on, on trauma informed care and ethics consultation in 2019, I think, because we presented it at ASBH, the annual conference that year with Uche Anani.
