Dr. Macias serves as the director of the aesthetic surgery curriculum and site director for the aesthetic surgery rotation at USC, where he has taught plastic surgery residents for more than a decade.

He also holds multiple leadership positions within the Aesthetic Society and directs the Aesthetic Surgery Fellowship of Los Angeles.

So, Dr. Macias, welcome and glad to have you here.

So the buzzword today is GLP-1s, you know, how they work, why they work, and how it's been a game changer in all of plastic surgery.

So I'm really pleased to have with me Dr. Jamil Ahmad, who's a great, great friend, and he's the president-elect of the Aesthetic Society, and he's going to talk to us about his experience with GLP-1s, and I'm sure it's going to parallel a lot of what we do in the U.S., but he really does a lot of body contouring surgery, and it really, I think, has affected everybody's practice.
