American Federation of Astrologers

Who's going to write the test, you know? AI.

I had a student of mine back in my apprenticeship program days, one of my better students, and she decided she would get certified by the AFA, American Federation of Astrologers, and she flunked the test.

And I'm sure she could do readings and rings around the people that were giving her the test as far as helpfulness.

But she knew my techniques.

Welcome to the Horoscope Vault, a podcast that explores the world through the lens of astrology with a view to supporting you through life's ups and downs and helping you make more confident decisions through each chapter.

I'm Charlie, an associate member of the American Federation of Astrologers and astrology reader for The Bob and Sherry Show.

This episode is your most four pivotal points of the upcoming Scorpio season.

So the first point to note is how the start of Scorpio season feels like this weird flurry of happenings because the Sun enters Scorpio, the Sun conjuncts Venus, then Mercury moves retrograde and then Venus leaves Scorpio and it moves back into Libra.

This time, it was with Dave Campbell.

Dave is the president of the American Federation of Astrologers, and he's an incredible astrologer with some really cool work around asteroids.

This conversation is short and sweet, but I loved talking with him so much and I'm happy to say he and I are planning to record another longer conversation sometime in the near future because there's so much more I want to talk about with him.

So you can find that conversation right here in your podcast feed or watch the video over on my YouTube channel, Astrology with Elisa.

This is your week ahead episode for Monday, October 19th.

Monday is moon day.

Today, I'm sharing another conversation from NORWAC.

This one is with Dave Campbell, who is the president of the American Federation of Astrologers, and he's the owner of the Astrology Store in Arizona.

I've met Dave a few times now and heard him speak at conferences, mainly about the asteroids.

And I'm just really fascinated by his work.

Do you want to do a little intro of who you are?

Yeah, I'm Dave Campbell.

I'm the president of the American Federation of Astrologers in Tempe, Arizona.

I also have my own store, which is called The Astrology Store in Glendale, Arizona.

This episode is your week ahead forecast for Monday, October 12th.

Monday and Tuesday might be generally quieter.

It deploys robust psychological defense mechanisms.

The corresponding secretary of the IFA, a woman named C.S. Moll, subsequently published an official response to the project in the Journal of Research of the American Federation of Astrologers.

The piece was defensively titled Encounter with Academia.

Her written response is incredibly revealing regarding how belief systems protect themselves.
