Oh, actually, speaking of, this is tangentially related.

Some of you may remember that a year or so or ago we did an episode on Amanda Seales and Issa Rae [lip smacks] and their beef.

And, and that episode got actually pr- pretty good, pretty, pretty good views.

Well, a couple weeks ago, Amanda Seales herself commented on a reel from that episode.

Mind you...

Or actually, I think it was a YouTube Short.

I mean, the clip was so old, it had almost no views.

I, I just didn't think anything of it.

So Amanda, I guess, like, this girl had been talking about her on TikTok.

Amanda, Amanda Seales for y'all.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Oh, Seales.

So yeah, like, let's lay off Black women on the internet.

We're all just trying our best.

See, and I will say, while I haven't, I'm not up-to-date on Amanda Seales just because I don't know.

I- like, nothing negative or positive against her.

I was actually em- uh, messaged, um, by, you know, Jubilee or Surrounded or whatever, and they asked me to come on their Surrounded stuff, and I politely declined because I think that it can be done well by certain people.

I think Amanda Seales did it well.

I think her name is Hair Soup did it well, and Mehdi from, um, Mehdi Hasan did it well.

Three people I think did it well, but, like, a debate isn't a place that two individuals are looking for the truth.

And so matriarchy, what it does is it embraces our indigeneity empowers women and teaches the balance between men and women, that there should be a balance that there should be love and mutual respect between the two, uh, instead of a competition between the two races or between the two sexes, you know? And so this is, this is how it works within our organization.

Yeah, and you know, one thing I've definitely noticed – there's an interesting quote that Amanda Seales said.

She said – she made a mockery of this term intersectional feminism.

She said, intersectional feminism, what's that? There's no such thing.
