We went out and made sure that we gave a warm welcome.

Had folks out there and want to thank the Nova Scotia Federation of Labour for coming out and joining us as well as the board of the Amalgamated Transit Union who were in town and came out and showed their support to help us distribute information to the public about how they can help put pressure on the bank and put pressure maybe even on government to have the bank get back to the table and negotiate with these folks.

But one of the oldest unions in the state, starting in 1939, just shy of 100 years old, is the Amalgamated Transit Union Local 1208.

These are workers in the Jackson, Mississippi Transit District.

They went on strike on July 13th.
