Ace Tone

Oh, wait, you know, brand X actually sold under this name for a period.

You know, a lot of people don't know Marshall was sold under the name Park or that, you know, Roland started, you know, selling stuff under the brand Ace Tone.

You know, Korg stuff was rebranded as Univox.

So there's all these little there's this historic context.

And Tucker's just one of those guys that, you know, he's done so many, so many great records, and he's been doing it for so long.

He has amassed a collection of a lot of uh a lot of just fun and sometimes rare kind of instruments and one of the things that we gravitated towards which i'd never heard of was a an ace tone electric organ which was which was like something that was put out in the in the 60s and it's kind of got that uh Almost that vibe of the, we're going out west where I belong.

You know, that kind of electric.

It makes you just instantly think of California.

But that Ace Tone keyboard, we loved the way it sounded.

And we tried it on the very first track and fell in love with it.

And we're like, oh, let's try it on this second track.

And we were like, okay, we need to put this on every track.
